es sei fortan zu beachten

zur Beantragung staatlicher Fördermittel in Wissenschaft, Forschung, IT und Pharmazie.

0.) unter der Annahme, dass auf dem Planeten Erde 10 Mrd. Menschen leben könnten, soll die Zahl 100.000 die Wurzel der Menschheit repräsentieren. Kein Mensch soll mehr als 100.000 Euro wert sein.

1.) ein Mensch soll maximal 100.000 Euro Staatsförderung für sich und andere beantragen dürfen.

2.) höhere Anträge sind je 100.000 Euro Budget jeweils von einer weiteren Person zu unterschreiben.

3.) alle Antragsteller haften zivil- und strafrechtlich wie jeder andere Mensch gegen das geliehene Budget.

4.) je max. 5 Antragsteller muss ein (1) Staatsbedienstete(r) gegenzeichnen. Diese haften je bewilligtem Antrag zu 1/10 mit ihrer Unterschrift gegen das in ihrem Namen von der Allgemeinheit geliehene Budget.

5.) Die Wissenschaftler (et.al.) bekommen zunächst jeweils 1 Jahr, um die vom Staat (von allen anderen) geliehene Summe zum Wohle der Allgemeinheit zu mehren.

You Don’t Want to Build All Models from Scratch, Do You?

This is a very interesting article by Wang Zhao about fundamental blocks of System Dynamics archetypes in elaborated detail, posted by @YoungModeler.

For everyone new to the topic, a simple overview of the basic feedback loops that are common to Business Model Generation as well can be found on Wikipedia’s article about System Archetypes. As well, the basic picture of those interacting Problems-and-Success Models can be found within each Dynamic Application.

Building World Models, altogether. A great topic to discuss.

I found that management picutre on German Wikipedia, translated the picture to English, called it “Balanced Scorecard – Management”, and added that picture to the top right icons in Dynamic Applications. Finally, i’ve uploaded it to the english article on System Archetypes at Wikipedia. Where it resides until today.

How could such archetypes or “building blocks” be incorporated with Dynamic Applications? – your suggestions are highly appreciated.

Modellers face a problem: Too few of their models ever get reused. Meanwhile, many projects start by building a new model from scratch requiring plenty of research to conceptualize the model structure. If we see these two aspects from the perspective of ‘supply’ and ‘demand’, is there any ‘mismatch’ in between that hinders models from reuse? If so, what could be the reason?

The average person has most likely never heard of ‘’Limits to Growth’’(Meadows, Meadows, Randers, & Behrens III, 1972), or the Club of Rome. Nevertheless, every systems thinker is familiar with the book and the story behind it – from reading it, watching the film (Last Call, 2012) or from their studies. It is possibly the systems thinking study which has received the most attention. As a consequence, the study caused a spike in interest in the field. Ever since there has been a strong link between systems and sustainability thinking.
